So I'm kinda stuck with the decoration in my bedroom upstairs. I've got some classic and some rococo items, all refurbished, but I'm just not feeling it anymore.
Then I went upstairs to Gracie's yesterday and saw all the Gracie furniture laying around... I had forgotten how cute they are!
The only Gracie Grace set I ever had was the Princess one back in City Folk, I really loved it but it became kinda boring over time. I usually prefer it when you mix and match different sets together to make something more unique, and I don't know if I can handle staring at those green circles everyday...
Do you have any opinions on the Gracie set or in Gracie Grace sets in general? Should I go for it?
To me, it is like an overpriced flashy version of the Alpine set. And the green circles looks more like a status symbol rather than a stylish one. But that's just me it depends on what you want, I prefer mix and matching too rather than limit to just one set. I like the princess set aesthetic though. They literally look expensive. If you have plenty of bells to buy the Gracie set, why not? Unless you're saving for something else.
I like the Gracie set! In my Mayor's house, I have the top floor set up with that furniture set + the city view wallpaper instead of the gracie wallpaper, and it has a penthouse sort of vibe. It's actually my favorite room in the house.
I probably have the bells to buy most of it, but I don't know if I'll have the courage 'cause I'm pretty cheap when it comes to spending my hard-earned bells...
But I don't know, I'm not the best at interior decorating but I might give the Gracie set a shot because my bedroom is really boring me lately. I'll probably get one piece first just to see if the wood color matches some of the other sets I have, like the classic one or the blue one perhaps.
I think the Gracie set is butt ugly. The pattern is tacky and the furniture is boring. Like another reply has already said, it's really just a way to show off your moneys. I really like the princess set, though.
i LOVE the gracie set!! probably because i'm a plain gal and wear brand name because i have no idea how else to style lmao. plus, it's fun to try and match some things together. you want to be able to spend time debating where to put what with what because the game is otherwise kinda boring sometimes c: <3
not a big fan of the Gracie grace set, as I dislike the weird color scheme & it almost makes me nauseous lmfao
I think you should go for the Gorgeous set, it's very royal looking & really elegant, I really like that one
also the Princess & Sweets sets are really pretty too ^^
I totally agree! And I never had the Gracie set so at least it would be a cool and new experience.
And I never been a 'brand name' kinda girl, and I used to think that the Gracie set was exactly that, but then I saw the cute little shelf thing with all the colorful tea cups that's part of the set and I realized that it was actually kinda cool. To me it wasn't really about it being expensive and all, it was more just me realizing that I might've underrated an interesting set and would like to test it out. Only problem is that to 'test it' I would have to spend all my bells haha
I'm not a big fan of the Gracie Grace series, but I'll probably get it, at some point, because I'm a completionist. It'll probably go into storage, though.
I have a couple of items from the other series, but haven't gone all out with them. I rather like mixing a few pieces in with other series, so the Gracie Grace could work in that regard, as well.
I really like the Gracie carpet and bed. I'm not a fan of limiting my room to one set as I find that boring, but I do sometimes use Gracie furniture. Plus I've been wearing the Gracie hat ever since City Folk.
Gracie's stuff is always a hit and miss with me. I like most of her stuff minus the Gorgeous series...I find it very ugly and it's hard to match it with anything. However, the chairs from the serieis are very nice though. I love the gracie set but I'm not a fan of the bright blue and green, it kinda hurts my eyes. I adore the princess set though, it's so pretty but I doubt I'll use it. It won't really fit with what I have in my house.
I do like the Gracie set and I think it looks pretty good in combination with other furniture. Whenever
I use parts of the Gracie set (most of time also for the bedroom, since I really like the Gracie bed), I
look for other items which would fit together with the Gracie items.
Besides the Gracie set, I also like the other sets you can buy from Gracie's shop in general.
My favorite is the Gorgeous set. After getting the whole thing and setting it up nicely I feel so accomplished and just love it. My only complaint is it seems a smidgen dark and i think i might have to find some lighting that fits the theme and spread it on the walls to try and brighten it up a bit.
I feel like the Gracie series is a little ugly mostly because of the flashy bright colors. It's very hard on the eyes (at least to me). My favorite series from Gracie has to be the Princess series. The colors are very light and pastel and pleasing to look at!
