I forget who's town I went to the other day, it might've been Coney's but they have a really cool dirt path obviously made my running which I'm assuming took a bunch of work. Might do this for my cycling town if I ever have that much free time on my hands. Do any of you have dirt paths? How long did yours take you if so?

I don't have dirt paths but I am considering because they look natural and fantastic.

im working on it on my town purely
and also probably ratoulle
still haven't thought about it

but i love them

Bit annoying tbh. I like to explore my town, so I walk around a bit and because I play a lot it's starting to make dirt paths. I can see the purpose of them but I just really don't like them. It honestly makes my town feel really barren and I don't have the intention of using them at all since my town isn't really a natural town. It's kinda starting to make my town look like a desert, and I just really don't like that about them. It's perfect for forest themes though.

I want one so bad! They look soooo pretty!! But they are a lot of work. :c

They look good but take a lot of work and they are very hard to control

The only place I want a dirt path (right now) is through my perfect cherry forest to my house. But they're so much of a pain to maintain that I don't want to do that... But I go through the trees to my house 4-5 times a day, at least.

They look very nice, especially if you're making a natural/forest town. Unfortunately, they're very hard to maintain. If you don't play for periods of time, they'll start to go. My town has paths but since I use the same route everyday, it's turned into dirt underneath but I like the look of custom paths better. There's this guide here that might help. Good luck!

I don't personally have a dirt path, but I've thought about having one many times. It looks the nicest and most natural of all paths, but considering all of the work it takes to have one and keep one, not to mention you can't easily remove it, I've opted for QR-code paths. I just don't like how blocky the patterned paths are, which is why I'm thinking about using mushrooms/clovers/flowers for a path, but it might look tacky.

I don't have a dirt path coz i heard it hard making one and its easy for the grass to grow back. Im a lazy person so i probably wont be making any dirt paths.
I saw some dream towns with a forest or natural theme have dirt paths and it looked so good. Got tempted to make a dirt path but nag, im lazy.

I love the look of them, and when I finally start my third town I plan on making dirt paths. they're a ton of work though, so I'm really not sure if I'll have the time to maintain them :c

I adore the look of dirt paths, and I'm planning on trying to make some in my current town.

At one point in my town I did have natural dirt paths, but due to time traveling and not playing everyday is what made them vanish.
Here's some pictures of what they looked like last year!

I have them in my main town and once you have a border around them they are not hard to control at all!
Eg, bushes on either side of the path so you make a very straight looking path even if you dig up the bushes they will be extremely straight.

Though, I would not suggest digging up the side rails for any length of time because it will cause the path to become uneven. Also you have to be careful with the placement of flowers, as they can be easily trampled if they are put in the wrong spots (turns in the path that you run into a lot).
I run my paths A LOT but the places I don't go are obvious lol! They are cute and I think add a sort of rustic aspect to the town no matter what your theme is. makes it feel like a more natural town also you can always tell people put a lot of time into it.

i love dirt paths. i used to have one big area on the left side of my town where its completely grasslass because i wanted to make a camping ground. took me literally 3weeks even time travelling to get the results. it sure was a frustrating process alright. and you know what? i didnt play the game for quite some time and when i got to play after a long time, the grass completely grew back. well, there goes my hardwork..
