I don't think so. I never saw any of my villagers saying other catchphrases so far. All still using default ones.

Ughh it bugs me so much! I specifically pick the catchphrase for each villager. Raymond has a Gatsby theme going on around his house so I have him say 'old sport' and now Shari used it. NOOO! >:O What even is the point of a catchphrase if EVERYONE is using itttt!

I think it’s a fun thing like I never changed a catchphrase but I made punchy call me a weeb 10/10 no regrets
