omg I do remember these!! It’s been a long time since I played animal crossing gamecube (no longer have access to my gamecube or the game) but I definitely remember seeing these! I never did use them for writing purposes though only decorations. I don’t see them bringing this back, but it would definitely be a neat addition if they did!

Awww Animal Crossing for Game cube was the first game I ever played. Best memories, best time, best everything. I think they should also bring the statue back remember? The first one to pay the full house loan would get gold statue?

I used to write in mine quite a bit. I think you could only have 365/1 year's worth of entries before they started overwriting if I'm recalling correctly. I do agree with you, it would be neat to have an in-game journal again. I can see myself using one for my haunted house

I always thought the journals were a fun part of Gamecube, even if I didn't use them much. I just liked putting them in my house.

Even if they were brought back as furniture items without any function, I'd still appreciate the reference.

Yes bring back the journals! I see many people saying they never used them and I’m included in this group, but I think it was because typing on a keyboard using a controller is awful. Now that we can use touch screen when typing I think these journals would get a lot more use.
