OMG TARANTULA!

Nope, it's not just bad luck. They're generally hard to catch. They're rare, so they don't appear much, and even when they do, if you get a net out, they'll chase you and try to bite you. I haven't caught either, mainly because I'm terrified of spiders.

I've only seen 2 tarantulas and 1 scorpion. The scorpion ran away and I lost it and both times the tarantula bit me. I hope I can catch one someday. I even went hunting when they were in season and only ever saw any those three times.

i've only ever caught a scorpion. must've been sheer luck because i had no idea how rare they even were.. but EEK! the tarantula looks so creepy ahh i hate bugs >.<

LOL! I can imagine you reacting like Blathers does when he is handed a bug. But, for the record, I agree with you. I don't mind most bugs, but when I saw the tarantula for the first time it REALLY creeped me out. I hit a rock, it came out and looked so dark and real and hairy that I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Then I woke up in front of my house... *shudder*
