Most of the ones I liked the most have made it through most of the AC releases. Bob, Filbert to name a couple. I kind of like that they don't bring every animal to the next game. It gives us a reason to play the older games if we like. I still play the Gamecube version..

I feel the same way about Boris (Cranky pig) and to a slightly lesser extent Aziz. (Jock Lion)

They were both in my very first town and I have fond memories of them. Boris was the town grouch and the main guy who kept my feet on the ground.

I'm a little surprised Boris has not returned to us though, the game needs a boar villager.

My favorite villager ever was Boots. I loved him so much, I sent him mail every day and put so many flowers outside of his house. When he moved from my village I was devastated. Now Nintendo devastates me again. I'm sad about that, but I'll always remember my Boots.
