Older Players

Hey Becky, I'll add you now :p
John - I visited Lululand earlier ! Had a lovely cup of take out coffee and admired your town, it's beautiful, gorgeous flowers.

Take care
Peaches

Peaches... your town is exquisite.

It's like a master craftsman hired an expert designer who knew the King and Queen of Foreverland... to create something so unique and wonderful that even the most dry one eye'd pirate would melt into a blubbering slobberfish. It is truly wonderful. I don't really have the words (or grammar? heh heh) to describe what my eyes (eye) just beheld.

Signed... a blubbering slobberfish.

38 yr old female and I love this game. Very active player, if anyone wants to add me that's fine. Thanks :)

Hi Breravroykk!! (I'm glad I only have to type that... heh heh heh... very unique and special indeed).

I'm adding ya as soon as I finish this message.

Lululand will be open, so I hope you get a chance to come on by... maybe even get a cup of coffee too. I've been told that while Lululand's coffee isn't the absolute best, it does put a bit of "Pep in Yer Step"... grin.

Add me back, K?

When I see you in Lululand, I'll add you as best friend so we can communicate within the game.
I often used that ingame feature to see if people want me to bring them Katie (traveler), or when trading, or things like when Lululand is having a meteor shower.

See ya soon!

It's a long shot but I have Kabuki in my town and Wolfgang in my son's town, both moving on the 19th. I don't TT so plenty of time to claim them if anyone wants them. Wolfgang is original but Kabuki has been in my town for a LONG time so he's obviously not. PM me if interested.

Question:...

Has anyone tried having TWO Animal Crossings New Leaf games?

When I see someone with their home next to the beach... where you actually can see the waves beneath... or when I see pictures of homes rigtht by the waterfall.... with the waterfall in the background... it makes me want to start over just to get a map that I could really do some special things with. I knew absolutely nothing about the game when I started (like most), and would have made different... choices... had I known the potential and complexity of the game (like life... eh? hehheh).

So I'm thinking, what if I had TWO games... where I COULD start over, yet not totally obliterate this current town should I find the re-start no better than the first attempt (grass is NOT always greener on the other side of the fence... as they say).

Is this possible? Or will the internal data be overwritten when you plop another card in.. or... access a downloaded version. I wonder if I'd LOOSE EVERYTHING in the attempt (grin... and... cry).

Another thing to rant on about (heh heh)... It would be nice to be able to have an "overlay" option to see what public works projects take up what actual space... or mapping out future PWP positioning. When it says, "so many spaces behind", etc.... I've really no clue as to exactly the distance of one space. (I bet there's an app for that... grin)

I'm currently playing two games. I'm still playing in my original town but also playing the town my son created. He's only 6 and grew bored of it pretty quickly. He only likes playing the tours on the island. So I play on his game and do his dailies and such as well as talking to the villagers, working on the museum and buildings PWPs. He has a 2DS but I usually play his game on my 3DS unless he's not playing it. I haven't noticed any issues with saving or anything. Both games play fine. I get to keep my town (it's almost 2 years old) while also experiencing it all over again.

Thank you Mayor Mandy!!

So.... to clarify.. it's two different game cartridges used in the same unit?... two distinct Mayors?

Thank's, and sorry for the clarification.

Hi Chep! Welcome! I see you just started on The Bell Tree yesterday. I hope you find this game as exciting as I have.

How often do you get a chance to play?

Did you just start your town?, or just new to The Bell Tree forum?

Wishing you the very best.... take care....

Lululand is OPEN!

The Turnip lady was selling turnips for 96 bells each....

I didn't go for it this week, as last week that's roughly what they went for, yet all week it seemed the bells were being bought back for pennies on the dollar (54!). I finally found a town where they were being bought back for 94 bells... on Saturday Evening! I took a small loss. I didn't participate this time because I felt I could make money faster doing other things, and the LOCKER SPACE those things took up wasn't worth it at all.

Just saying...

Did anyone grab turnips for greater than 96 a piece?

MAYOR MANDY!....

Just thought of something...

If two separate games can be played, it seems feasible that someone with 2 or more DS systems "could" visit their alternate town and dump their town contents into the newly created town?

This also brings the question... (which may have already been inadvertantly answered)... if you started a game on one 3DS, can you pop out that CARD, and play that same care in another 3DS with all content intact?, or does the game save vital use info onto the original (originating) 3DS system... thereby disallowing dual 3DS unit use for the same game/card. I'm thinking that when you said you use your son's card in your DS... that answers this question, IF I understood your use correctly.

So lengthy... sorry.

Yes, that exactly how I do it. Occasionally he'll play on his DS but I usually play his game on my DS. I switch out games all the time. I'll play my town, save and quit, go to the home screen and close the game completely then take that cartridge out and put his in. I haven't had any issues playing two carts on one DS.

Thank you Mayor Mandy!!

Thank's Espionage! See ya soon!

QUESTION TO ALL...

I've come back to the game a few times (twice) to find the leaves off a tree (not the same tree). I was wondering what causes the green of a tree to completely disappear, with only the long trunk present (not chopped). It looks very Halloweenish... but.... not that time of year.

What can cause the leaves to disappear? Anyone else see this before?

Take care.. and have a wonderful day!

Hi Folks!

Ole' "Redd" was a-selln' his wares again... being Monday. Of the 4 items for sale, only one was original. Darn.... my alternate character had nothing to buy (but Lulu did purposefully buy a fake pharaoh lady... just because).

Anyhoo.. LULULAND is OPEN!!

And as always:

Have Fun,
Don't Run,
Leave the flowers to grow in the sun.

It's been raining practically all day in Lululand. I changed the ordinance to the BEAUTIFICATION ordinance.... so my late night shopping will come to an abrupt end. Rats (but no cockroaches now... eh?,... heh heh)

Take care everyone, and have a wonderful day!
