So recently I went back to playing animal crossing gamecube. Still really fun and addicting no change there. But I noticed it has a vibe different from ACNL. The villagers seemed more real and the overall tone of it was more 'laid back life, maybe pay that loan maybe just take a chill pill'. I feel like ACNL has brought so much more to the table in one game its lost its charm. Of course ACNL is still as addicting as ever and I love it, just not the same as I love the old games? ?? ? Maybe its because I still look at the old games as a kid would ?? ? i dk.

(I'm still salty about the villager personalities though. They seem so watered down in ACNL. The old games held no punches with the villagers.)

I have not played the Gamecube version in a really long time, so it is hard to but my opinion on it. But maybe it feels less laid back because you are the mayor now? :P

the dialogue in the old game is a lot more in depth and personalized than it is in acnl.
in the newer games it's more redundant and lacks personality. but i grew up with the gamecube version and i'll always hold a special place in my heart for it.

I had less freedom for themes with furniture in my house and I disliked fishing and was always in debt. NL is way more fun for me personally. I've been remembering y old character. With her weird triangle hat they all had lol.
