No, they are employed by the city. Yes the city officials are paid by the tax payers, but in reality it is up to the city to hire those people. Not us.

And yes, I know it is rare to hurt yourself or someone else by mowing the lawn, but it does happen. I have seen people who have lost limbs by mowing the lawn. I have seen toes and parts of feet all over a lawn, because people are stupid. It is rare, but it happens

So what makes this group of people that call itself the city have total control over other human beings?

Without rules there would be an anarchy. There has to be a line in the dirt drawn between "this is a rule" and "this isn't."

It isnt that they have control over other human beings, it is that they have control to maintain a city/public park... There are rules on how to do certain things. There are channels he could of gone thru to do it if he wanted to. They have certain procedures on doing it. Like I said, he ended up getting debris everywhere. He caused more work for people.

It is similar to backseat modding. Rather than someone take something into their own hands, people are expected to follow a certain set of rules and procedures to deal with an issue or problem (I.E the report button or to PM a mod).

If someone did not follow these rules, and decided to take matters into their own hands, then that person would be dealt with accordingly. Not because they may have handled the problem improperly, but because they didnt follow the rules & regulations on how to handle that situation

A forum is private property. A park is public property that is supposedly owned by the people, including the man. If there is an issue with public property like this, than there shouldn't be public property to begin with.

Yes, they are denying his basic right of liberty. This is a good example of a problem that will occur when you declare property to be owned by everyone.

Rules to protect life, liberty, and property. Not infringe on them.

That's really just an excuse. It's equally rare that one of the employees would hurt someone. And if he hurts someone, he would be sued. Not the town.

Not being on city property. I know lawyers in Ohio that would take up that case (I work in legal services). Especially if they hadnt stopped him, and then he hurt someone. They would have been in some real deep doo doo
