Odds of Getting a Certain Villager?

So I am currently plot-setting for my 8th villager and I can tell the game really wants to give me a Smug villager. I've had Chadder, Keaton, Olaf and O'Hare so far--what do you think the odds are of eventually getting Marshal/Zell/Kyle or Julian? I don't like most of the Smug villagers and although I do like O'Hare I've already had him in my previous town.

Has anyone found odds one way or another?

If you don't have a smug in your town and you have every other personality, you'll only get smugs. Since there are I think 30 smug villagers, the odds are one in thirty. c:
Just keep resetting, eventually you'll get lucky if you stay at it for long enough.

Uhh yes that is definitely true ^^ and OMG as I just wrote this I got Julian!!!!! I've never had him before!!! Woo hoo!!! Part of me wants to keep resetting to see if I can get Marshal but I feel like I may regret that...;_;

You're so lucky! I'd keep Julian if I were you, you could be plot resetting for hours until you get Marshal. Julian is pretty cool, too! ;D
