Odd moments in Nintendo games?

I love nintendo, (this whole forum probably does aswell) yet does it feel like sometimes they go a bit, far? You know like in some games they have that one moment that seems completly out of place? For instance to toilet hand or THE ENTIRITY OF MAJORAS MASK. Anyone have that moment?

I feel that the Re-Dead's are out of place in the Zelda franchise.

Some of the stuff in Link's Awakening is so bizarre.
Oh and Super Mario Land 1, that game is just odd.
 
The thing about Majora's Mask is that it's intentionally completely out of place from the norm, and meant to be odd and sorta disturbing.

You can't really count something like that, when the entire point of its creative design was clearly meant to be that way, as opposed just being a product of odd decisions.
 
some of the nighttime music in city folk used to make me kind of scared, dunno why. not really an odd moment either.
 
"Odd moments" might be Nintendo's middle name...an Italian plumber travels to a mystical kingdom and consumes mushrooms to gain strength to defeat a mutant turtle creature who regularly kidnaps a princess, all while sending its turtle mutant army and walking mushrooms with angry unibrows after you. Or...a group of monkeys fight against a tyrannical crocodile with the aid of guns that fire fruit and vegetables loaded into them, while collecting their stolen banana bounty. Or....a bird and a bear walk into a bar ran by witches and-
