I'm kinda worried. Since no one can get in or out of the country, a family friend's son is there. He got in right before this happened, but they won't let him have his luggage. It's twisted. But like Fabio said, they're on the brink of a revolution.

That's not my point. The point is the Egyptians having no internet access today is somewhat equivalent to them living in isolation for so long in 3,000-2,000 BCE, in which case they were actually more advanced than most other societies at that time. It was actually suppose to be somewhat of a joke, but I guess my sense of humor is just messed up...

cousin of mine lives somewhere over there with husband & two kids at least, not sure if they live there.

No. I've stopped having Empathy for people I don't care about or dislike. It's the product of living with my mother :l
I'm not ignorant, I know EXACTLY whats been going on (My parents keep going on about it for reasons I can't talk about), I just really don't care about the middle easts problems. We have our own problems to deal with without sticking our noses in their business. Each time we do we get terrorist attacks.

Laid back and lack of Empathy for alot of people recently is the best way to describe me.
Edit:// Don't get me wrong. IF I knew a friend who was worried about it for reasons like you have Bacon I'd feel Empathy for them and said person. But on the larger scale I'm the guy who thinks "We REALLY need to sort out OUR **** before dealing with everyone elses.
