Well, if you have a lot of trees and haven't been picking the mushrooms, then you should have at most 100 right now (5 x 20 days).

Yep. New mushrooms will keep growing even if you don't pick them. I dig up the rare mushrooms though.

i didn't know this either....
i've been inactive here so glad i found it from here by chance hahaha. i keep picking them everyday so they'd spawn the next, didn't know they carry over. that's good, i just have to clear most of the ground so they'll grow instead of weed.
