The Nintendo switch 2 will have virtual game cards, and you can even share a game card to someone in your Nintendo switch family group, and borrow one, and do other stuff with them.

But what is the point anyways? (But is there eShop anyways?) or I think I know why, you can keep your game card organised in ONE PLACE

I’m not sure if I’ll use this but it does seem like a useful feature. I’ll have to learn more about it since I do have a Switch and Lite.

I kind of like how the games will automatically return to your library (because we all have that friend or family member who holds onto things too long or never returns them!) but I wish the lending period could be longer without local connection. It works best for people who live near each other, but some of my friends live in other states etc and I only see them once a year and it would be nice to still pass some things back and forth

I’ll probably stick with mostly hard copies for now. I like the feel of a physical thing too, even if they do have the potential to degrade over time, because they seem to be pretty sturdy and could last most of our lifetime anyway!

I really like the feature! My bf and I both play the switch, but generally get different games each, also digitally. But this is a nice way to exchange games if we want to try out something new!

It can be handy if you got a friend on your family account (I don't have siblings).

I'm very excited for this feature because I'll probably end up purchasing at least 2 consoles when they get released as I like to have one that primarily stays docked and a second one that is ready to be brought on travel. It'll also be nice because as much as I love having physical copies of games, it becomes a burden for me to keep track of them when I lend them out to my friends / family members. I'm pretty sure at this point I've had 4 different games borrowed that I most likely will never see again unfortunately. So having the luxury to lend games out to people but have them be returned to me after a certain period of time is convenient.

i think this feature is really neat! i normally buy physical copies of games and i don't have anyone to lend games out to, but it's nice for people on a family plan or are able to trade via a local connection

I still don't fully understand how it works, and not sure how much I'd utilize it anyways. I like buying most of my games physical if I can. Hopefully it's useful for other people though!

I find it annoying that you can’t delete a downloaded game and redownload it in situations where you keep getting error codes while trying to load the game and uninstalling it and then redownloading the game is the only way to fix things. I haven’t been able to play Pokemon Cafe Remix since the 2nd and every other thing I’ve tried to fix the error has either failed or not work because I have the latest update already.
