nintendo online app not working?

i've been using the app to get nook points like everyone. today i realized i haven't done it in a few days so i opened the app and clicked on ac nh. but all i get is a loading screen with a circle. is anyone else having issues with the app?

EDIT- i turned my phone off and back on and now it's working.
