So about a month and a half ago, I got the Yarn Kirby patch things from Club Nintendo in the mail. Kirby looked like this:

I thought nothing of it at the time.

So, last night, when I went to get the mail, there was a package from NOA to me. I opened it, and there was a note inside:

"Dear Club Nintendo Fan,

We wanted to bring to your attention a minor cosmetic defect with the Kirby patch reward you ordered. As the quality of the products we provide is very important to Nintendo, we've taken the liberty of including a corrected version of the Kirby patch. We have also included an extra limited edition special patch that is not available on Club Nintendo! Please find them enclosed.

Please note that you do not need to return the original patch you received from us.

We hope you are enjoying Club Nintendo!

Sincerely,

Nintendo of America Inc.
Customer Service Department"

This (along with the other patch in the set, which is not the limited edition patch) is the corrected version which I received:

I will not post the "extra limited" edition patch for that fact that it is nonexistent. Not that I care. Regardless, my question is, do you think the cosmetic defect would make this insignificant patch worth anything on Ebay?

Possibly maybe some collector of Nintendo stuff might buy a defective Kirby patch maybe not for a lot of money but maybe you'll get something

Is it only the eyes that are being considered "defective"? Regardless, maybe some Nintendo will want it as Jrrj15 said.

I'd say it would be worth a lot just because of its rarity, but not right now, maybe in a few years.

hit them up.
they owe you that limited edition doohickey.
all three on ebay in two decades = big bucks no whammy

It's not defective he's just High.

Nah it might be worth something but its not likely unless theres a super Nintendo fan on Ebay.

Uhh maybe a few dollars above the original price..

But that's still pretty awesome that you got a a special patch for that.

Derp. I just realized that the eyes were put on upside-down. How did I notice the angle of the eyes before this??
