There will be a Nintendo Direct on 12 September 2025, at 6 AM PT, 9 AM ET, 2 PM BST, and 11 PM AEST (around 2.5 hours from the time of posting). It will run for around 60 minutes, and feature upcoming Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 games!

I'm hoping for some good news!

I'm tired, so I won't write much at the moment, but the major titles I'm looking forward to are, #1 Yoshi and the Mysterious Book (oh my gosh) and #2 Mario Tennis Fever. And then I'll also be looking forward to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment and Pokémon Z-A.

I'm glad DK Bananza will have a demo, since it's a game I'd like to try out before committing to it.

I'm also interested in trying out Dinkum (silly), Popucom (multiplayer!), Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, and Human: Fall Flat. I thought Dragon Quest VII: Reimagined looked good, but I've never played a Dragon Quest game, so it's one to follow. Not games that are at the top of my list, but all games I'm going to have in mind!

I did like the new Tomodachi Life update, that new Pokemon game you play as a ditto seems interesting, and I’ll check out the Yoshi book one but… nothing super exciting for me.

Although I’m interested in how much new content is in Danganronpa 2x2.

I didn't even know there was a direct. There was a lot of stuff I didn't expect so I would say it was overall a good one even if some of the stuff didn't interest me. It didn't occur to me that it's almost the 40th anniversary of Mario wow!

I was expecting a Donkey Kong movie to come out before the next Mario movie, but it was the right call for it since it's the 40th anniv. and Mario Galaxy will probably be good! I thought it was going to be the next movie/Galaxy with the music that played. I wonder who will be Rosalina's voice actor. It will be interesting to see how they put Luigi and Princess Peach into the story since they aren't actually in the games.

I was not expecting a remastered version of Dragon Warrior/Quest 7! I wish this was the version we got on the 3ds. I've played it 2 times already. One the PS and 3DS so I'm not sure if I'm ready to jump into it again a 3rd time even though it being remastered looks so good! If it stays true to the original, this is kind of what I would had hoped for FF7 without all the extra multiverse stuff. Also is it just me or does Keifer look like Prince Charming from Shrek 2?



I was also not expecting Virtual Boy to become an NSO feature or for them to create a near replica of the original stand/console. It's interesting, but I don't know if I'll get it. And I was really surprised that Metroid Prime 4 is releasing so soon considering how quiet they've been about it. The outside terrain traveling reminds me oddly of this N64 game my older cousin had. I had to look it up and I think it's Body Harvest.

Overall it seemed like a solid direct and there's probably some things I'm forgetting since I had to step away before I wrote my thoughts. The Yoshi game looks really cute!

Most excited about Dragon Quest 7! May play Dinkum as well. Definitely playing Dragon Quest 1+2, but already knew that was coming. Other games that looked pretty good were Pokemon Pokopia and Yoshi, although I probably won't play either. Oh and I may play Mario Tennis.

There wasn't a whole lot for me this direct, but I'm excited for Pokopia and the new Tomodachi Life. I'm also glad there will be demos for DK Bananza and Dinkum. I've wanted to try them for a while, but never committed.

I'm always wishing for a new AC or Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, but didn't expect news on either this time around. I can always hope for next time

It was good. I’m excited for Mario Galaxy 1+2 and the Galaxy Movie. Everything else looks good too. They even revealed a Mega Man Star Force rerelease collection (only in the Japanese version of the direct, but still), which was incredibly shocking and also means all of my favorite series have a new game I can look forward to, besides AC I guess.

Sad there is still no sounds of a new ac, but understandable with tomodachi and now pokopedia soon coming out.

Yeah I usually don't try games like that, but it would be fun to have a Pokemon world designer game like we got with Mario Maker. Will be fun to see more information on this!

There were a few interesting new games here. Seeing more info about Pokemon Legends ZA is exciting! Especially the mega reveals. Releasing the game with DLC is unusual, I wonder what it includes. I would probably get the new Mario Galaxy 1+2 since those were some of my favorite Mario games and the updated graphics look great. An unexpected surprise for me was Danganronpa 2x2. I will play that one for sure. I wonder if the new story could be related to the anime? There were a few other games that seemed nice too, I'll have to see what they are like when they come out.

The new Pokemon game--looks cute but where is the new Animal Crossing?? :-(.

Final Fantasy 7 remake looks like something I might like as long as the combat isn't turn based. I love the art style of FF.

Dinkum looks cute and promising.
