hello! i'm ethan and i'm new here. i'm 28 and i've recently been getting back into playing new leaf on my 3ds. i play new leaf and new horizons, although i have recently restarted both saves.
i've been playing animal crossing since the release of new leaf, which my now-partner told me about (they've played it since the gamecube days). we played it from dawn to dusk for that entire summer and it holds a very special place in my heart. also i'd like to petition for the next AC game to bring back multiplayer tours and other activities!!
i have many hobbies and interests, i could go on forever, but the main ones are space/astronomy, la dispute, reading, zelda, grounded, and language learning. i also like to watch hockey and surfing, play video games, go outside, do film photography.

secondary note - i'm wondering how the seashells and bells currencies work on this site? i'm not a big forum-user in general so i don't have much experience, i'm not sure how to build the currencies or what they are used for!

from what I remember the more you talk in the forums, the more bells you accrued which is actually helpful when buying from other users in the forums (like in Nook's Canny for buying general items even in game bells [IGB] within New Horizons!) And then the seashells I unfortunately don't know much on those x.x Forgot how they're used lol. But mainly the Bells are most common. I recently just came back to the site so I'm trying to relearn a lot of these things as well. c: But I hope you enjoy it here! I do know this was my favorite Animal Crossing forum, its the only forum I ever really come back to
that's one of my biggest gripes about new horizons...that all the save data is stored on the console rather than the cartridge, so you're locked into one island unless you want to get a second switch...even more annoying that they can't at least let you have different save files or something. congrats on getting a switch 2 though!! how are you liking it?
