Hello everyone, my name is michael and I’ve been playing animal crossing since 2015, my first game being new leaf which got me through a very hot and boring summer! since then, i have played wild world, the original animal crossing on the gamecube, and new horizons, but new leaf holds a special place in my heart, as well as my new town Venetia. currently, I am replaying the gamecube version in a town named Kaigara and having a lot of fun! here’s some images of my characters below, and if you would like to play new leaf online with me or just simply be friends let me know and I will add my friend code when possible.

Hey welcome!

I didn't start with NL but I got burned out by Animal Crossing and the repetitious plot. Then one day when watching Disney XD I saw some commercial where the Disney kids discussed things and New Leaf was one of them. 'You are the mayor' The game had been out for years and I just found out by chance by some random commercial and just had to have it. So I got it for Christmas 2015. Was tons of fun so I can relate but it was to pass time during the chilly winter lol.

Thank you!!! and oh my goodness I think I actually know which commercial you’re talking about, was it during the gaming segments they started doing? i used to tune into those all the time myself xD

I'm not sure what it was called. It wasn't that show where they had people play games. They were these commercials where they had Disney actors act like they're hosts and talking up whatever they were advertising. It just happened to be about New Leaf and a few other games. I think because Christmas was around the corner. That was like 10 years ago (probably longer!) lol so I can't remember anything except how excited I was to try AC again because I would be the mayor
