New Villagers Moving In Question (New Game)

It's been ages since I started a new game. Anyone recall how long from starting a new game to when a New Villagers plot appears?

That's weird, my first villager moved in a few days after I started the game.

I think it's about 2 days, though it's been a while so I'm not 100% sure!

Definitely not more than 4 days, though.

I always thought the plot would be down the day after starting.
