Mermaid furniture came back, there's hope.

I can think of better furniture that could have been added back.

Not everyone is into the pastel mermaid stuff.

I dont care about "holidays" because i dont take part in them, but i am really excited about the chance of having more villager interactions, those were kinda lacking and one of the main cons of nh for me. Celling furniture does sound interesting too.

I hope the playdate thing is changed from NL. It's so annoying when they're like "can I come to your house/do you want to come to my house?" and you say yes and then they're all "okay, pick a time at least an hour from now!" There should be an option to either do it immediately, or for the player to set the time.

Haha i agree. I admit that was inconvinent to me sometimes so i would like that option, but i did enjoy setting timed visits and getting all excited and carefull not to miss them, i even set alrams on my phone to remind me lol.

Yeah, I saw this earlier and was super pumped! I'm really hoping that they do different events year after year instead of the same ones all of the time. Like what about doing something for St. Patrick's Day this coming year, and skip Bunny Day all together? Honestly would anyone be that upset if those eggs weren't such a huge thing? I mean... I guess people who get the game for Christmas might be bummed...

There are so many things that they could do, and I'm really excited to see what they come up with. Here's to hoping for new things year after year, maybe with them even having a small permanent team to do that kind of stuff until the next game on whatever next gen console they decide to do. Not as many updates come 2023, but still some things... I don't know. Maybe I'm dreaming, but it would be really awesome.

I hope that they add some more unique content such as mini games or more ways to interact with your villagers/friends, which I feel is an area that is VERY lacking at the moment...

I don't think that just adding seasonal furniture every update, that you have to acquire in tedious ways, has been keeping a lot of people interested.

I’m holding a muted optimistic view that there’s a possibility that the addition of ceiling furniture will lead to a Nook’s Cranny upgrade. Of course my main focus is on more plant items but I don’t think anyone would mind that Nintendo STOPPED keeping a potential upgrade from us.

Another Nook's Cranny update would be super welcome at this point. Of course I'd like to see more purchasable furniture rather than the same couple dozen things I usually see on rotation in there. A larger daily stock of the same limited item pool would just make them feel even more overdone than they already do.
