THERE IT IS!! THERE'S THE KIRBY GAME THAT WE'VE BEEN TAUNTED WITH SINCE E3 2005!! FINALLY, IT APPEARS!!

This is too great! 2011 is the year of Kirby!! We just got Kirby's Epic Yarn last year (except Europe, which will be getting it later this year), and now we're getting another Kirby game on Wii AND Nintendo DS!! Not to mention that Kirby will most definitely get a 3DS game at some point in time, probably not this year but eventually. And the 3DS's Virtual Console will no doubt revive Kirby's classic Game Boy adventures, too!

The Year of the Pink Puff!

I would rather have one Kirby Air Ride/Super Star than 5 Squeak Squads.

epic yarn was okay, but i don't think it was really kirby. not how he's known by.. everyone.

I think this Kirby game will live up to its expectations. I mean, it's been in development since at least 2005... I really like the Final Smash-like abilities in it.

As for Epic Yarn not feeling like a true Kirby game...that would probably be because it wasn't originally. It was going to be a completely new game, Fluff's Epic Yarn, until they decided to use Kirby instead. A good decision, I think.

hopefully so. i really hope they go back to what makes kirby so addicting/fun/timeless.

a good decision for nintendo's marketing.. as no one knowing who the fluff prince fluff is would've meant another flop, most likely.. unless people really liked it/talked it up. i bought it because kirby was in it. iamanawfulconsumer.jpg

I swear.

2011 is Nintendos year.

Not only do we have Black and White coming soon. Legend of Zelda is pumping us with a remake of Orcarina of time set to be the best legend of zelda YET and LoZ Skyward sword. We also have Animal crossing 3DS which could be very good
ON TOP OF ALL THAT we have this?!
My god I might actually have to get a job for all theese gaming WINS which are appearing.

Epic Yarn was originally an original IP, and it shows. Kirby was pointlessly tacked on to the game with no consideration for that series' unique gameplay mechanics. It's still a decent game, and the art style is fantastic, but it's certainly no Kirby 64. This one looks so much better, almost like a Kirby 64-2.

My main gripe with Nintendo is they never lower the prices on their games. I still see them at full price, even on sales. I'd be more inclined to get this, but seeing as I still have a bunch of games to buy, added on that they barely go on sale, I might pass.

Gotta love looking through sales ads, noticing a Nintendo game advertised on sale for full price. :L Dammit Target.
