New foods/drinks you tried today/recently!

i was just about to mention dragon fruit!

i tried a yellow dragon fruit a little while back and it was yummy! i don’t disagree with them “tasting like water” but it has a subtle sweetness and seeds that i really enjoyed~ and having it refrigerated only made it more refreshing!

I havent tried the yellow. I have only tried the red dragon fruit with the white insides. (There is a red one out there that is red inside as well).
Dragon fruit is great.

I've been eating more fruits lately and one of my favorites is pears. I usually get the Bartlett pears or sometimes Green Anjou, but last time I went to the store they didn't have any that looked good. So I tried a Red Anjou and it's delicious. I will definitely be getting more of them in the future. I also picked up a Bosc pear, but I have yet to try it.

I also went out to eat at one of my favorite Mexican restaurants yesterday and switched up my order. I tried their potato burrito and spinach enchilada. I enjoyed them both, but the spinach enchilada was amazing! Next time I might get the set of 3 spinach enchiladas.

I think the newest fruit I tried was dragon fruit and it's pretty tasty. Definitely better than I expected.

Also, I recently tried matcha tea and loved the sweet and refreshing taste.

I saw some kind of snickers iced coffee so I bought it, threw it in the fridge and tried it out this morning. It was mehhh

as for me, i almost forgot to mention i tried a new mochi donut flavour! normally i’ve gotten ones with matcha flavoured chocolate, but this one came with white chocolate, biscuit crumbs, and a really soft biscuit on top! super yum

Honey butter chips. Oh wow. They are AMAZING. Such a rich and soft flavor definitely heavier on the butter with a nice subtle honey sweetness. I didn’t know honey could be that subtle lol but it’s fantastic, 11/10

I tried the red one. Also, I remember that Wendy's used to have a dragonfruit flavored lemonade on its menu, though I'm not sure if it's still available.

Besides that, I tried some beef sausage for breakfast and dinner that tasted great.

I tried the tropical uprising flavor from Yerba Mate recently. Not too good. I usually get the enlighten mint flavor but I got this by accident since the colors are similar.

i tried an empanada today!! it had cheese filling, i really liked the filling and crispiness! but the cornmeal (?) texture underneath the crispy layer wasn’t my cup of tea, unfortunately

I tried Milky Way hot chocolate, which was really nice, just like what I imagined a melted Milky Way to taste of!

I tried bonchi ponsuke nori snacks. they were pretty good as i'd expect from this sort of flavor.

I recently tried this chocolate chip banana bread, and it’s amazing. You can really taste the banana. I wasn’t expecting it to be so good when I bought it, but it’s something I would definitely get again.

Tried Bubble Tea for the first time ever! I choose Brown Sugar and Milk flavoured Bubble Tea. It reminded me of watered down iced coffee! Really nice and would have it again!

Strawberry Twinkie's. They appear to be a special Easter limited flavor, but they are pretty good!

tried banh canh cua recently and really enjoyed it! I'm a huge fan of the texture of the noodles and all the different toppings it comes with.

I finally tried these the other week after hearing lots of good things about them, and I've deadass thought about them every day since! that turtle really did their thing with those, they're so good they're actually dangerous!! the texture is so airy and satisfying, and while taste-wise they weren't really giving choco churro to me, they're still delicious!!! if you've ever been to Krispy Kreme, they smell just like their chocolate iced donuts!!!

100/10, I regret only getting one bag!!

i tried this new gluten free dip at costco, loved it but we had several other errands to run after so we decided not to get any perishables. i may grab one next time i go though

Somehow I had never tasted oat milk until recently, funny enough I had already tried other vegetal milks like almond, soy, coconut, rice...

I quite like the taste so I think from now on I will add the barista version often to my morning coffe (and cold in summer sounds great)
