New amiibo

I wonder if there will be new amiibo for new horizons. Any ideas for them?

Hopefully there aren't too many as I've already spent an absurd amount on cards and figures.

That being said, PHINEAS figure!

I bet they will.. They'll probably need to re-release the old ones since there are so many, and add a few new ones.
I would hope there are a few new NPC's to be introduced in this game that they make figurine amiibos out of. And they could also create a new villager characters you can collect by buying card packs. And I'd actually also love to have a few more branded packs like the Sanrio ones!

But as John Wick says, not too much please. I'm still lacking SO many from the old series, and I'm not ready to spend absurd amounts of money on cards.. So hopefully they can help gameplay a little but are not deemed almost necessary to be able to play optimally.

I would think so. I hope it is a combination of old stuff re-released along with new cards and figures of new characters and villagers as others mentioned.

Probably. I'm just happy they're allowing us to use the cards and old figures. I've spent so much money to get all the cards. ;_;

It would be nice for some new ones to come out, but the chances of me buying them even for just collecting purposes is very small. I don't mind the Amiibo, but I just don't ever use it very much. I have a few cards from the old series, but I much prefer to get the villagers on my own naturally. So I don't mind if they release new ones or not.

I hope we will have new figures (I want a brewster amiibo ^^) but if we have new villagers for new horizon, i am pretty sure we will have new cards in that case. Nintendo knows we love AC goodies that's why I am pretty we will have something for new horizon release in march. I need to save money for that.

I'm kinda hoping for new villagers or even better, new species! Even though that means more cards to buy.
