Never saw this happen before

In my new town of Fanguri, I am working on getting my Villagers moved in and I used amiibo card to move in Pheobe and did some plot resetting to get her in the right spot and she did. I noticed her plot was fenced off so I added some flowers around it and went about my day.

The weird part is, today in my game is 1/3/19 and it is Joey's birthday...and when I entered his house guess who was there? PHEOBE!!!

I don't know if it was a glitch or what. She is not even moved in yet...how did that happen?

That's actually really cool, they're gonna be buddies forever or she's lookin for a place to crash for the night.

Hmmm that is weird, that's never happened to me before.

Maybe someone should try to replicate your steps to see if it's possible or if it's a glitch?

Buddies forever is a sad though though...Joey is in a bad spot so sadly her new Buddy will be leaving...but it was weird cause she has no house but there she is.

Don't know what there is to replicate...all I did was scan in an amiibo and the plot was fenced off the day of someone's birthday...maybe it's a rare thing that could happen
