For this new town of mine... I've decided that I wanted to use Purple Pansies and Blue Violets to decorate my town. I was wondering what bushes would be compatible with them. My Native Fruit is Cherries in case anyone was going to ask about that when it comes to my new town. Any help is appreciated.

[Note: I may use this thread again if I need anymore advice when it comes to landscaping.]

Well if you're going for a blue/purple color scheme then I'd say blue hydrangeas are your best bet

Hello!~ I would say blue and pink hydrangeas would be a good coordiantion with purple pansies and blue violets (I've done that mix before with blue roses). Just a small idea :lemon:

Thank you guys for your inputs about which bushes could work. I really appreciate it a lot. ^.^

I also think holly would look good with those!

I feel I must disagree with you. Holly has to much Christmas association with it, I think, to work complementary to blue and purple flowers. Plus I'm told those are cool colors and red, like holly berries, is warm color. I don't know if that meshes. Does it?

Hmm I was kinda just looking at the holly bushes out of season, and to me the red of the holly isn't very intense, it's kind of like a muted red to me! In season it definitely looks christmasy, but idk I think the lil white buds would go really well with the purple and blue flowers. Also just because i don't like the meshing of pink and blue for some reason with the pink hydrangeas hehe

But yeah in season it might look a little funny :')
The best bet is def the blue hydrangeas tho!

It could, but it would be very primary. It's always best to decorate in threes, using a carrier color, purple and blue carrier would be yellow-orange, but since there's no yellow orange flower, I would suggest ye old sweet olives, white azaleas and maybe yellow hibiscuses
Red's a good 'pop' color though!

the white buds would look nice, plus the nice dark green and the spikye texture.

I think the sweet olives would look nice too! I feel like their blooms are a little orangey though and I never like mixing purple and orange.. But they'd def look nice too :)
