Who thought the holiday season could be so... mischievous? In this activity, you can choose to be naughty by using the temporary Throw Snowball or Steal Present reactions on the posts of other users. However, perhaps you will instead choose to be nice by using the temporary Bring Hot Cocoa or Return Present reactions on the posts of users who have been hit by snowballs or have had presents stolen. Unfortunately, nice has a price! Using either of the nice reactions will charge you 2 bells each.
When you throw a snowball at another user, it will splat across their avatar like this:
When you steal a present from under another user's tree, it will hide one of their collectibles like this:
As you have probably guessed, the nice reactions reverse these holiday hijinks. Users can only be hit by 10 snowballs and have 10 presents stolen at a time. If it goes over that amount in a single day, it will be even more difficult to reverse, but each day will reset to
Reacting affects your naughty or nice status, which is shown with each of your posts. When the event ends on December 31st, you'll receive 2 Gumdrops for participating if you have a status of either naughty or nice. Neutrals will not receive gumdrops, so pick a side because we'll be checking the list twice!
Furthermore, those who are deemed to be naughty will receive a Lump of Coal collectible.
Those who are deemed to be nice will receive a Christmas Candy collectible.
