What is the traditional fruit drink on your Island called?

You know, the one you got to try once on your first night and then never again. The one some villagers can be seen sipping every once in a while.

I’m assuming they have different names—mine is a Peach Lassi, and I’m not sure lassis work that well for some of the other fruits. I’d be interested to see how much variety there is, because come on—who doesn’t love small details like that? ^ェ^

Also: what color is the drink?

Oh mine is just pear juice

I assumed they were all called "(fruit) juice" lol

... I'm pretty sure it was literally just pear juice. I could be wrong lmao

I don't know mine (I have cherries as my native fruit). But I find it interesting that my villagers drink it in a rectangular glass that somehow reminds me of kombucha?

An Orange Julius. The stand must be in that one area behind the cliffs that I can’t access

Cherry juice on my island.

Mine is pear juice as well and the color is a bit yellow green in a mason jar.

I believe it’s supposed to be a mason jar mug

I wish I had a screenshot from that scene with Nook to be sure, but I know villagers have specifically referred to it as a lassi since then.

Really? I thought that was a branded name, but I guess it’s just a type of drink in general. Very interesting (provided you aren’t joking)

pretty sure mine was just apple juice, but I need to ask one of my villagers if I see them drinking it

Nah, I don't remember them referring to the juice by a special name. Now I'm curious though.. guess I'll have to spam the dialogue the next time I see someone with juice and see if they bring it up.
My native fruit is oranges, and even though it's such a tiny detail the little orange slice on the cup is SO friggin cute!! I'm so glad I went for oranges this time, it makes me happy whenever I see it lmao

I hope we can get our island's native fruit juice as a hold-able item some day, it's so adorable ;__; I want orange juice too!

Right?! Where can a hardworking Island Rep get some juice?! It’s just plain rude, honestly.
I think you have to craft them. I have a DIY for coconut juice, but not for any other fruit.

I've been looking at videos on Youtube of people with different native fruits on their first night on the island. They're all rectangular glasses containing a beverage that's the color you would expect it to be for the fruit, and it's all just referred to as "juice made from" the island's native fruit. When did the game refer to yours as lassi?

Ahh, I was wondering if that could be the case with the first night.

I am 100% sure my smug villager called it a lassi though. Could just be a line that’s applied to every fruit.

It doesn't have a name in the camp scene (just went back through my screenshots to be sure - my native fruit is peaches too!) but I have seen villagers mention 'peach lassi' in dialogue.

Thanks for backing that up—I was starting to doubt my memory haha

Just for reference, this is how the coconut juice looks like (and Fang is drinking his cherry juice - or whatever it's called)
