Nails or makeup (or both?)

I hate wearing make up to be honest. my mom would sometimes force it on me before her and my dad separated, and I would feel extremely uncomfortable. I really hope she has learned/learns to be more respectful about this.

However, I don’t mind having my nails painted. :,)

It's not for me personally, but I love seeing what other people do with their makeup and nails!! Lots of v v talented people out there who can do very pretty things.
Although I don't ever use colors on my nails, sometimes I do like to use clear coat for the extra shine and nail protection! c:

I like putting a coat of color on my nails, I absolutely suck at doing my makeup and it seems like a waste to me anyway.

I do both. My mom paints my nails and put makeup on if there is any special occasion happening.

I chose nails! In the past I only cared for makeup since I disliked how quickly my nail polish got chipped, but nowadays I don’t wear makeup often (would rather sleep in lol) and get gel so it lasts a while.

make-up. in the past my nails have been naturally long and i've painted them, but it's not something i consistently do or have done for a while. i can't justify the cost and maintenance now, but in the future i think i'll probably start getting some simple acrylics/gel extensions.

my make-up routine is quick and simple but something i enjoy and do whenever i leave the house. it's just mascara, eyeliner, lip product, blush. i usually do brows and lipliner as well, but not always. i very rarely wear concealer and never wear other face makeup like foundation, bronzer, contour etc. the joy of make-up is in the eyeliner for me. a liquid eyeliner cat eye was my go to for 5/6 years, and something others associated with me, but in the last couple of years i've transitioned to a more smudgy pencil eyeliner look with a sharper waterline. i never spend more than 5 minutes doing my make-up.

I used to like makeup as a kid, though it just doesn't look right on me, AAND it's a sensory nightmare, so nails all the way for me! I do wear blush sometimes though, and I almost always wear black nail polish because it's classy :3!
