THE OTP I SHIP ARE:

From Pokemon:
Ash x Misty

Jimmy Neutron:
Jimmy x Cindy
Libby x Sheen

From Inuyasha:
Inuyasha X Kagome
Sango X Miroku

From Ranma 1/2
Ranma x Tatewaki

From Breath Of The Wild:
Revali x Link

From Mario (including all spinoffs, movies, manga ect...)
Mario x Kamek

From Minecraft Story Mode:
Jesse x Snowmeo

The Amazing Digital Circus:
Jax x Pomi
Zoobie X Gangle

I have plenty of reasons for shipping all of them as romantic interests.
Any ship pairing as friends will be all friends!
It finally feels so amazing and freeing to finally post this on an actual forum again!!!

I am a self-shipper, have canon x canon ships, and ship my OCs together. I actually have some friends who also ship OC x OC, and we even have some OC ships together <3333
Never let that self-shipper in you leave you; they'll be the most important ships in your lifetimes. I would like to think that it is the most freeing option of them all. LOL :p

I usually stick to the canon, but that won't stop me from shipping characters sometimes. (//w//) I don't associate with that part of a fanbase though...some shippers can be super toxic sometimes. ^^;

In PaRappa the Rapper I prefer the PaRappa & Sunny and Katy & Lammy pairings. The only pairing in Pokémon I really like is DipplinShipping with Kieran & Juliana (the female player character in ScarVio), Mainly because I reeeally love Kieran, lol. 💜
That's what we're in here for-to get away from the toxicity of shipping fandom found elsewhere.

I’m not really a shipper. TwiYor is all i care about.
More power to you! That's what it's all about:giggle:

yes, i ship all the time! always wlw couples, most often rare-pairs, subsequently never canon. i really only fixate on one at a time though. i've written 55 fics for my current oblivious mutual pining losers ship. (soon to be 56, hehe)
Rear pairings are the pairings you never forget! 😉

if it wasn't already obvious, my favorite pairing (since I've been a teen) is Cloud and Aerith. I love their star-crossed lovers theming and that even in different universes (Final Fantasy Tactics, Kingdom Hearts, Dissidia) Cloud searches and longs for her. They're complementary opposites, which is beautiful to me, and their interactions feel so magical and natural. Everytime I watch one of their dates in FF Rebirth, it makes my heart feel full. if only one day I could have such a person complete me. I hope that they get a happy ending in the final installment. THEY'VE WAITED SO LONG, SQUARE ENIX.

I don't think any ship could ever dethrone my OTP, but there are many more I enjoy. I'd say when I watch media, I ship more often than not. Some media is just a no for me, like Evangelion - the entire cast needs to go to therapy before they enter a relationship lmao.

I typically ship canon, but there have been a few instances where a different ship has more potential or I think is more interesting. It's the opposite when it comes to otome/dating sims; my favorite is never the main love interest, which is depressing, lol.
I have multiple OTPS, and none of them dethrone each other; which is amazing!

Most, if not all of the couples I ship together are canon.

I also find it sad how one of the side couples I support have a healthier and less toxic relationship than the show's main couple.
I feel as though most cannon "shipping" is like that.

Never. I always leave it to the author to ship them because I always follow canon no matter what. Its their work so I respect that. For example, Naruto ended up with Hinata in the Naruto series so since its canon I see any other shipping than that trivial. Of course, if a relationship isn't officially canon or not stated it would be fun to speculate but I don't really think about those things often. So...if its not officially canon or stated then I leave it be until it is canon by the author or authors.
Be careful, some authors out there can't be trusted (this isn't just in media and shipping but I'm also referring to actual writers who write novels). Sometimes authors just like throw things at the wall to create drama among the fans. If it seems if they promised one thing and then change it later on-they aren't made to be trusted. There's a lot in cannon that the authors don't add in for one reason or another; that doesn't necessarily mean they don't ship non-cannon characters; there is a lot more going on behind the senses than you know.

I had a shipping phase in my teens but now... eeeh. I ship my own characters, lol.
I do that based on my own novels. ^_^

Usually, I only ship characters that end up becoming canon couples, with one exception. I ship LuigixBowser. I started posting art of that ship as a joke, and over time, it's grown on me. Now, while it's an absurd ship that will never see the light of day, there is some excellent art portraying them together and I love seeing the creativity from people that can put two characters that are polar opposites of each other and make them look happy together.
Advice: Never says that any your ships are absurd. You should be more than glad that you get to realize and experience the ships you encountered. Bowigi is becoming the new RevLink. I'm all for Bowigi, but I'm for (MarioxKamek) Marmek more. Now that might sound crazy to you, but I have a list of reasons on why I ship them. And according to some of the fandom I've came across, I don't sound like the only one. You'll be surprised what Nintendo might end up throwing at us.

yeah i ship characters i don't like off to abhu dhabi, garfield style

i do have some ships but they aren't like part of my personality and i'm not a fandom or fanfic person. i also don't think shipping is disrespectful to the original works in any sense, especially when it comes to a lack of representation for marginalized groups (lgbtq, people of colour, disabled people, etc.). having unconfirmed theories and ideas is a fun part about fiction, and most fiction writers agree!
Lack of representation of underrated ships overall. The creator shouldn't consider any original cut content from the original works as disrespectful; especially if fandom mentions that content and that content just so happens to be part of original works and is just not out to the public. Regardless, they shouldn't be offended in anyway; if anything be more than honored to have a fan discussing their works. Fandom content still shows support of the show regardless if it matches the cannon or not. And cannon can be augured based on private and public works alone. If anything, I'm sure there's lot of content that they create that is part of cannon-just not to the public eye. I'm sure they have their reasons, and those reasons and public content viewing can change over time. Take remakes for example (while not to different from what i just mentioned before) remakes can show cut content, content that wasn't ready for the public eye just yet. I'm not saying remarks are the original content or the way it's suppose to be, but it proves that there is original content that public has never viewed before. So cannon is pretty loose in that perspective. And there's lots of people who just point at content in manga and on screen and say hey that's cannon, but not everything cannon makes in on screen or in the manga..ect....That doesn't mean it's fannon filler, but just means it's cannon content, as i mentioned before, isn't out to the public. Will it ever be? No one can say for sure until it does.:)

As a kid i was a huge fandom stereotype for pokéspe. I was particularly fixated on wristshipping and "mangaquestshipping" (terrible..pokémon ships have these strange code names for some reason). Other than chattering with friends on various ships i dont really engage in this sort of stuff anymore. Though the exceptions to that are touhou doujin and fire emblem
I know exactly what you mean! It seems like the shipping terms in Pokemon aren't terms I've ever used in any other anime, manga, and so forth. I found that interesting!
