Splatoon [NA] Past or Future, which do you choose?

It's here! The new North American Splatfest theme has been revealed and it's all about time traveling.
If you had the chance, which would you choose: To travel back to the past (Team Callie) or To travel into the future (Team Marie)?​

I personally choose Past because I'm someone who lives in the past. Memories, events, people, etc. , I enjoy the past. It's very hard to choose, however. There's also so many benefits to the future!

I chose past, but not like prehistoric times like the picture shows. Is probably go back 50 years or so so I can meet my grandparents and see what my mother's childhood was like.

I really don't like how they limited it to "dinos or spaceships". It really could be any time period. I'd go back and watch myself live my childhood. Heck I might go back just to watch 90s TV lol.

I'd love to fix some of my mistakes that ultimately messed up a lot of things for me.

Agreed, it's a very limited way of looking at things. There's a lot more potential to this kind of theme but it always ends up this way, haha

Haven't picked yet, haven't been bothered enough to log into Splatoon in a bit. Probably would go with future, because of two reasons:

1) Marie best squid
2) See 1
3) Okay but seriously I'm assuming the future has a time machine, get a bunch of future tech and go back to the past to conquer it.

I think I'm doing pretty good for my first splatfest. I'm already a past champion so I just need to win a few more matches for the next rank. If only I didn't get communication errors every match

Most likely is, since I haven't encountered another Team Past.

Of course right as I say we're dominating I lose like 5 matches.

Made it to past king. This was a pretty fun first splatfest and I got paired up with a great team

Got to Past Queen on my main and am currently Future Champion on my alt.
We aren't doing terrible, but not so great either. I've also had one or two Future vs Future matches.

This Splatfest was way too easy. Kept getting paired with teams of lv 20s while I had a full team of 40-50. We'd have them in Danger within the first 30 seconds of the match and usually trap them in their base. Only took me about two hours to hit King which is a new record.

I think I only lost maybe five or six matches.

You're team past right? I hope they win.. That's my team, haha. But I reached Queen status and it took some time since I generally suck at Splatfests I think it might've taken me 3? Maybe 4 hours? A few today and like one or less yesterday.
