Mystery Books

So... I just finished reading the ENTIRE SHERLOCK HOLMES, COMPLETE WORKS of Conan Doyle... So... what other mystery books shall I tackle?

Is Agatha Christie a good writer? I heard her mysteries, especially "And Then There Were None", are really good. Any other great mystery writers?

Hmm I am not much of a mystery guy although one of the last books I read this year was kinda scifi/mystery, there is a detective in it anyway. "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency", I like it plenty of twists and anomalies, and there is a second book with Dirk Gently in it called "The Long Dark Tea Time for the Soul". Both by Douglass Adams and although I read them out of order I still enjoyed them a lot.

Agatha Christie is good, a lot of her stuff has been mimicked though, so it would seem bland to todays standards.

I KNEW that sounded familiar. Douglas Adams wrote The Hitchhiker's Guide. I think I may have read that first book, but not the sequel.
