I joined Belltree Forums March 3 2014, and I have loved being on here, posting, interacting, and buying and selling, and meeting the nicest folks who share my ACNL game passion.
My initial purpose was to explore and widen my game experience ... I wanted to be able to obtain furniture, landscaping, rare flowers and other items that I did not have. I learned so much from reading "how to" threads, and I still love to check them out!
There were many very kind and generous members who simply gifted things I was searching for. This has in turn made me love to give back with contests and giveaways in an effort to return that same generous spirit.
I love the structure of the forum which allows for diversity and personal expression while at the same time making you feel safe while you interact in trades, etc. I also love that being on the forum has opened up for me the opportunity to develop my interest in art. I am blown away by the artistic talent on here!!
I also love that Belltree has allowed me to indulge my Obsessive Collecting, my avid desire for "having every set completed" whether it be Collectibles, Game items, etc.
But, again, the very best part of the Belltree experience is the members ... Some of them have become very dear to me!

Thanks so much for doing this giveaway! I joined the bell tree forums because I had an account on gamefaq and other users would always say "hey, if you're looking to buy such and such the bell tree forums is a good place to go!" At first I had a hard time navigating all the threads, trying to figure out market prices for items and villagers, but this site has ended up being far, far more than I'd imagined it would be. I've made lots of very kind users and made new friends, and I'm really glad this is such a kind, fun-loving community.

I started playing ACNL in Feb 2014 as a way to stay connected with my grandchildren. Shortly after I started playing my daughter sent me a few links, one was Thonky, the other was gamefaqs. One day, another member on gamegaqs mentioned this site.....so I came over here to check it out....that was 5/9/14. One of the first things I noticed as I was browsing the site was a member was doing a giveaway, I still remember their name. One of their rules was you had to have been a member before the date of the OP of that giveaway. I sent them a message and explained how I ended up here and that I was not an alt account. I ended up liking this site more than the other as for me it was much easier for me to follow along, I liked the rating system and the fact it made trading a lot safer....and therefore, I could interact more with others. I had made some great friendships.....even though I do not chat much. This site has been my connection to the outside world while I have been home bound due to uncontrolled seizures.....at times 20 plus a day. Some good news is that after having started a new treatment protocol back last June, and then another new one in February, I no longer have uncontrolled seizures and am able to get outside my home more and after 3 years of not being able to drive, I am now able to do so.....on a very limited basis.
So to those of you (and you know who you are), that became my friends on here, and most especially to the one person that let me share with them my up and downs and how hard this journey was at times, especially not being able to celebrate holidays and special family events with my family, my gratitude to you and my other friends is bigger than texas, lol.

I became part of this forum to trade and play with other people, that made AC:NL so much more fun for me ~ 
I joined originally because I was desperate to get my hands on an afternoon tea set, and some other dlc, and there seemed no hope until I found this forum. I then started using the villager thread to help me get dreamies. I don't play animal crossing as much anymore but I still check here every day just for fun.

Thanks again everyone for entering, and for sharing your Bell Tree Forums stories. I joined here one year ago when, like many of you, i was looking for trading partners to acquire those elusive foreign DLC items and non-reorderable items.
My first forum friends here were people I had already traded with at other forums: Umimori, HMCaprica, Ashley0711, and Piddles. since then I?ve had the privilege of getting to know so many more people around here, i?ve really enjoyed it. I especially like how the membership here spans the planet.
I originally viewed forum collectibles as kinda silly (except for White Feather, the most kingly of collectibles) and had no intention of pursuing any until my friend Piddles sent me an Orange, and then I started to get the collectibles bug... But still, I was gonna lowkey this place after I?d done most of my priority ACNL item trading, but then there was a Halloween event, and then the Line Group had a late Autumn event, and then there was the Christmas event... you get the picture-- and now i?m looking forward to the first Bell Tree Fair event since i joined!
