I was looking for villager trade sections, and I became part of this forum. I then saw the other sections, and I liked being a member for something other than villager trading.
Honestly, the main reason I came here is because I was using ACC prior to joining here, and that site kind of died a little (it's even more dead now), and so I came here because the forums were really active. I remember I was so confused when I joined here, but now I actually kind of know what I'm doing lmao
I've done over 400+ trades here, which I think was the only thing that truly kept me here...I enjoyed giving away items for free, but now that I'm getting to the point of no longer liking New Leaf, I think if I stay, it'll be to try and actually make friends here.

I initially came here to find villagers and other resources for my town, but eventually I browsed through the whole forum and I like taking part in some discussions and buying art! I also met really nice people (like you!) and those are the reasons why I'm still saying, even though I'm not as active as before c:
Tbh I joined this forum to sell my hybrids. But after that...it became so much more, with friends, pokemon and just plain ol' fun! I love these forums so much!
I came to the forums because I don't have many friends and am looking to meet new people. So far I've been coming back so I can meet new people everyday!
My good friend (who I met at the island) told me about this forum; he talked about it once or twice so I thought it was a cool idea and decided to create an account. I joined this forum alllllll because I needed an aurora screen (crazy Northern lights fan here). And since then I've been stuck here traversing through the forums. Had a retail phase then a basement phase then a collectibles phase and a silent watcher phase. Can't believe it's already been half a year :')
I joined here because I heard about this forum from tumblr on obtaining dreamies for my towns. People here seem to be really nice which is such a nice change from other sites. As long as I'm playing Animal Crossing, I'll most likely stick around. Lastly, my future goals is to get an art tablet so I'd be able to draw more often & expand on becoming a better artist. And I also like seeing what new collectibles show up so that's a plus. <3
I joined this forum after leaving the last forum I was on. It was my first ever forum, which was a Harvest Moon forum.
Everyone became inactive, or rude, which pushed me away from wanting to be on that forum. It became a whole chaos house.
I got into ACNL again, and lurked these forums for a while before I joined. I've met some amazing people here, who became friends to me. The mods are so much nicer and active with their members than the forum I was on, so it's refreshing. I enjoy how free it is here, and how nice people are.
I haven't been around too long, but I do plan on staying for a while, due to how lovely and fun this place is.
I joined this forum because I stumbled upon it searching acnl things. I decided to make an account, and I don't regret it. I have had so many good things happen to me here, and as long as I play acnl, I will stay here on the forums. I spent most of my time in retail, but now I really use 80% of my time in the Museum shop <3
I came here after reddit and I love this more then there because I felt I was being a little mistreated and not once have I been mistreated on this site so I am happy and I shall stay
I got on here, cause of my sister, I used to sell art, and this was a really friendly easy way to get my art out there. Now i'm just addicted to this place >w<
I just wanted to find a nice community where I could get some help completing my town...My motive for coming here has changed since, but I hope I can still finish my town one day. i originally joined for ACNL, and i had a lot of friends that all left sadly. now i just use it to buy pokemon/pokeheroes stuff, and just hang around cause i don't feel like i'll ever permanently leave tbt has so many uses. happy anniversary and thanks for the giveaway!
I started using Animal Crossing forums two months after New Leaf came out and stumbled upon this one through an online recommendation. I've taken a bunch of breaks, but I always keep on coming back because of the cool events that are hosted. Also, this site still has the most active trading boards and amazing artists
