My one qualm about Lazy villagers...

Does the 'bug' talk.... 'bug you?

it's pretty meh, considering bugs annoy me but i'm not uncomfortable talking about them!!

The bug talk itself doesn't bother me much, but the frequency of it does. I would much prefer them to talk more about food, naps, and comic books. I would still like the bug comments in there, just less often.

My favorite lazy dialogue is when they say things like "I'm not allowed to drive anymore. Not since... the INCIDENT."

I don't really mind it, but I don't plan on having two lazy villagers this time around.

it doesn’t necessarily bug me (haha) but i’m not too sure why they’re suddenly so obsessed with bugs lmao

I hate it lol. I didn't mind it at first but I feel like it's all they ever talk about, whether that's because it's too repetitive or just because they say it too often I don't know, but I'd really rather they focused on something else.

I love a bunch of the lazies designs so...disappointing!

Ever since Sherb told me that the bugs in his floor told him how to make a golden dung beetle, all of the pieces clicked into place: the bugs are plotting to take over the world, teaching us to make golden statues in their honor, preparing us for the day when they finally seize power.
And I guess the lazies welcome our future bug overlords. They are among the first followers--they will be spared their wrath.

In short, I find the bug thing pretty funny, actually.

I dont interact with Stu a lot because of this! even though he can say some funny/sweet stuff from time to time. Maybe i wouldn't mind it as much if it came from a lazy villager that i actually like.

I find it odd that it's an English thing, apparently it doesn't happen in other versions of the game. I kinda wish it was less forced such as villagers telling you the bugs talk to them in their dreams. Instead, it might have sounded lazier if they just said they dreamt up the DIY in their mid-day nap.

I really dislike it, Lazies were my favorite type in City Folk and New Leaf, but I can't remember hearing of any bug topics whatsoever. It's just really repetitive.

It’s all repetitive. The Maglev Mike thing with the peppies got old fast. I don’t know the solution since they can’t have endless dialog (though the uchi ”What am I doing? WHAT AM I DOING?” thing doesn’t get old).

i don't care too much about it, honestly! my one gripe is that there just isn't enough variation in the dialogue :/ i wouldn't care about the bug dialogue if there were more unique lines overall!

I didn't like it until Zucker told me how he had to clean his room or his ant friends never go home. For some reason I found that pretty cute.

They were my favourite personality because I love food and tbh I'm kinda lazy, so it was nice to level with them as a kid. But the bug dialogue is so frequent that I think I prefer the peppy, cranky and normal personalities in this game.

I thought it was funny at first, but it's so common that it got old fast. I'm not a fan of how the lazies are so different from the previous games. I wouldn't mind all the bug talk it if it didn't come up so frequently.

i was a huge bug person growing up and i've grown mostly complacent with buggies, so the bug talk doesn't bother me at all : it just feels too frequent. lazies were all about never cleaning up or lounging around, feasting on hoards of junk food ... which they still are, but i think the bug talk overrides that a bit too much. i get why its a part of their personality, but i dunno ... it doesn't feel 'lazy' to me.

considering that nintendo presumably added new dialogue to villagers to hint on redd's and such, maybe we could see a neighbour update eventually that adds a lot new dialogue, features, etc etc that could hopefully add more quality dialogue for lazies ...

I'm okay with it as long as I only have one lazy. I think it works with Lucky as I'm imagining him having bugs snacking on him under his bandadges and he is a bit of a weirdo, but having more villagers with the same quirk would be a little weird.

If you consider that their homes are so dirty that they have bugs all over, "sloppy" would be a better personality title for them I think

It’s alright at first, but the dialogue gets repetitive (though that can be the same for the other personalities aswell)
It’s kind of a shame since lazy used to be my favourite male personality, but I think I’m leaning more towards the smugs now
