Music Paper?

Does anyone use the music paper in the timmy/tommy stores? I did once, but didn't really get a reaction from the receiver. Does it affect anyone in some way, or is it just for fun ?

Thanks. Another thing I used it for is to send a little birthday tune to other human characters. Like, I go into their town and then send the letter to the Mayor character when it is their birthday.
