Mushrooms...

Lately, I have found several Rare Mushrooms. Research says that it requires a perfect town and I'm pretty certain that none of mine are perfect (perfectly ratty). Has anyone noticed anything different with mushrooms since the update? Also, the effects differ depending on which wiki I query. Mainly, why would anyone eat a mushroom that re-tails for 16,000 bells?

Ah it's because it's mushroom season right now! There will be mushrooms until thanksgiving! Some of the mushrooms are mush furniture.

Thanks. So I guess it's just a seasonal bonus? Doesn't sound right since, with multiple towns that have been through November a few times and this is a first, for me, it is a tad weird.(again, to ME)

Yeah. It's mushroom season. A rare mushroom sells for 16k and they can only be found in perfect towns.

Did you miss the part in my post where I said that I do not have a perfect town? That is what makes the multiple finds of the Rare a mystery to me.

Rare mushrooms don't appear in perfect town
They appear close to special stump (where it's another different design and not a circle)
And the mushrooms appearing now are not rare they are just regular because of autumn
