Moving out villagers you like because their house is just too ugly

Heh..I have Barold,Jambette and Chester so obviously I'm not going to be too concerned about what a villager's house exterior looks like.I kind of like having one or two shack-like villager houses in my town...it adds variety.

Vladimir's my favorite villager, but you're right. His interior is aweful.

Yeahhh I have Stitches and I think his house is so super ugly. I wouldn't kick him out because I really like him but I won't say I haven't thought about it, haha. I totally get caring about exterior, bad ones can be REALLY hard to landscape around. I was talking about ugly villager interiors/exteriors the other day and I think I described his house as Bozo's outhouse, a statement I still stand by.

I can understand that---

My love of a villager will trump their home exterior, but I've gotten incredibly picky about my town. I don't judge other towns based on my taste of course, but ACNL is like my happy place. I live with my parents so I don't really get to decorate my living space--- and honestly my home is like a tiny tornado just swept through everything x,,D Soooo.... I'm a bit nuts about my surroundings in ACNL. It's my escape, I want it to embody the things that calm me. (Not to say that broken-down-looking things or really vibrant colors can't be comforting too--- it's just not what I'm looking for~)

A lot of people get kinda preachy on both sides of the whole villager-choice issue--- but the thing is that there are a TON of cute characters to move in <3 My dreamy list was so hard to cut down to 10 (hence the second town) but it keeps going for me after 20! Other than TEENY TINY details, their personalities are carbon-copied to the point of using the same dialogue frequently. With that in-mind, if you have multiple villagers that you like the same amount but you have preferences for their home exterior or interior/ fashion sense.... Why not?

I got super attached to Katt and Hans in my first town, but there were others that I enjoyed more aesthetically. The memories are still there and I love them to bits, but I have super adorable uchi and smug babies now that I adore inside and out. Obviously that's not how I'd handle reality, but it's how I handle my pixels (/^0^)/

I haven't had it happen yet, but I could see a bad house exterior being a deal-breaker for a cute villager. Sometimes if I love a villager but am not too fond of home exterior, I have this long cliff in my town that can fit homes and a small path on it~ It's cute, easy-access, and a great way to tuck away a home that doesn't fit your town theme.

Interiors you can change over time with a bit of patience-- but you can't do much with exteriors.
