Hi everyone. I have a question for the experts of the game who know each of its secret.
In my new game, I try to choose the location of my villagers by doing the "new player's technique".
I think a lot of people here are aware of this technique. When you know the date in which a new character is gonna move in your town, you create a new character and prospect the emplacement of your new villager. If the emplacement is good, you save, if it's not, you quit without saving and start again.
Here the problem : I have a precise area in which I want my new character to move in (a area of 7x7 approximately) but no matter how much time I reset, my new character (Chief) doesn't move in this area.
Maybe I have to be more patient, but I noticed something interesting... There are several very precise emplacements in which Chief wants to install his house. There are maybe 5-6 spots that are more recurrent than others. Of course, the emplacement change each time I reset, but there is a higher probability for me to find the new emplacement in one of these 5-6 precise spots.
I'm wondering if the emplacement for our villagers are EXACTLY RANDOM or if "more fertile emplacements" truly exist.
After all, my 7x7 area is clean ! There is no rock, no obstacle, I don't understand why Chief favors some places rather than others !
