I have a theory I'd like to run by you all, and maybe get some confirmation and tips on this.
In the past week, Lyman wanted to move out three times, and Dotty twice. Nobody else wanted to move. Now I have been trying to get Paula to move out for two months now. I had the moving bubble three times since deciding she was getting the axe, but it NEVER went to her, each time I had the moving bubble, I let it roam for at least two to three weeks.
But I came to a realization today; the moving bubble isn't switching to Lucky, Rolf or Boris or even Mathilda... because I told them all to stay. I told them all to stay because each time I had the moving bubble, I got sick and tired that it wasn't going to Paula, so I told those villagers to stay, hoping next cycle would include Paula.
And then today, I remembered, long before I knew that you could move the thought bubble, my first villager ever to catch it, and asked me to leave, was Paula, and I told her to stay, because it was early in the game, and she is one of my OG two (I'm keeping Lyman, I just never liked Paula).
So here is my theory, and question: Do you guys think, that once you tell a villager to stay, they will no longer be included in the moving bubble cycle, until maybe you told every other villager to stay or leave?
Unless this has been discussed before, I'd love some input.
