Most expensive in game item(s) that you bought/sold?

On here?

Nothing.
I don't pay absurd amounts for anything.

In game it was the aluminium briefcase full of gold. 100k at Nook's Cranny.

Was this the trade we talked about the other night?

Yea it was a hot ticket item. Still expensive now.
kind of did finally find someone at the last minute. glad i was ready to pick him up too. If i had caused the guy to wait he got another offer for 500,000 more igb and 5 more nmt. He honored his agreement with me thankfully

raymond was my first campsite villager and i thought he was wack asf
this is when everyone had bloodlust for the cat and lets just say...
i sold him for an amount that no nmt/bells could complete with ;^) on discord ofc

I won't buy/sell villagers, so I'm thinking it would be the kitchen island for 170k bells. I actually got it a few days ago in my shop.

The crowns are on my list, but kind of down the list, so I won't be getting them right away.

I paid 1 NMT for a purple paisley bandana, just so I could make a Michael Scott joke in game

To be fair though the guy offered to give me all different colors of the bandana and I said no

I paid 500 TBT for all Celeste Zodiac DIYs.

I do remember seeing you offering millions of bells just to complete all recipes. I guess you don't mind overpaying at all.

1 tbt is equal to 1 nmt????

That's right. Nook Miles ticket have little value in this forum! :D

Maybe we should have a thread to discuss market trends. I find it interesting that some works of art costs more than the other.

The most I ever spent was 60 TBT for mushroom lamps. The most I ever made was when I got a high turnip price and let others sell on my Island I told them that I didn’t want anything for it but they gave anyway. I tried telling them I didn’t want it and they ignored me, so I just gave up and let them. I ended up making 3 million bells.

I got conned out of 60tbt for a butterfly model. That was before I got my time travel Switch and was able to farm on my own. Even now I would NEVER charge that much for a dang butterfly model.

I think the most expensive thing I bought was the great statue of Nookazon for 50NMT? I don't remember the exact price. I did buy 40tbt flower diys when I was trying to finish my nonseasonal diys and no one else was selling them.
The most I've sold something for was furniture for 10tbt. I did run a materials shop at one point when they were selling higher and had larger orders.
In terms of villagers I sold Fang on reddit for 50 NMT and bought Sally for 25NMT on Nookazon.

Most expensive thing I’ve bought was Sherb on Nookazon for 100nmt. It was on the high side of his value but I wanted ungifted and a quick trade.

I’ve sold quite a few Celeste DIY’s to give me some spare nmt for trading. I sold at low prices and I’ve even given them away to newbies but it was making me about 40nmt a day when I was doing it so it was a nice little earner and I’ve no regrets! Those are the most expensive things I’ve sold.

In the game, probably the upright piano (53k bells). Bought 2 of it: one for my main room, then another customized into a street piano for outdoors.

Here in the forums, 500 TBT to catalog all catalog-able items. Very worth it. Also, since I post actively here in the forums, there is no grind or any trouble at all.

Looking through my transaction log, the most expensive individual item I've bought was a real Valiant Statue for 80 TBT, though the most I paid at once for multiple items was 250 TBT for 5 crown/wreath DIYs I was missing. As for the most expensive thing I've sold, I sold some of the crown/wreath DIYs I got my hands on for 25 TBT each.

Probably statues! I think I bought some real and genuine valiant statues for around 75 tbt, at one point maybe even buying one for 100 tbt maybe? No regrets though because I really love the way they look!
