I want all the toys so bad.. so toy day! It’s also the first time I’m really looking forward to winter in animal crossing. I used to hate it in New Leaf but the snow looks so beautiful in this game.
both events look incredible but i’m definitely most excited for toy day! christmas is my #1 favourite holiday and i absolutely cannot wait to experience it in nh! from what i’ve seen of it so far, it looks super cute and i’m in love with the new items and costumes. i’m also really looking forward to seeing jingle again, too c’:
They both look great but I am more excited over Toy Day. Those pups
But I have other ideas to use some of the other stuff too. I also really look forward to the new years stuff (assuming that is where all the food items will come from)
I'm more into Toy Day as I don't celebrate Thanksgiving though I do enjoy Turkey Day/ Harvest Festival in game. Its going to be a busy two days on my island as my birthday is on Friday as well, and I love celebrating it with my animals so is it a bit of a cheat to say Toy day -) birthday -) Turkey Day?
I'd say Christmas. the way the town looked in the trailer made the event look magical. I really love the holiday furniture!
regardless I'm still really excited for Turkey Day, I had NL but I think I only ever played through the event once.
Christmas! I cannot wait for the snow to fall and to completely decorate my town and hand out presents
But I'm looking forward to Turkey Day as well, because I never played it before!
I'm more excited for Christmas/toy day. Thanksgiving IRL has never really been my favorite- it's too close to Christmas. I just want the festive season to start and I'm kind of done with fall. In terms of Turkey Day I am excited to try cooking or whatever the update has in store for us on the day. I just think I'm looking forward to Toy Day a lot more!
Since I've tried to stay away from too many spoilers, I'm going off my experiences in past games. That being said, I think I'm looking forward to Turkey Day a bit more. I've loved Franklin since his days as a scaredy-bird in ACGC, when he conned you into stealing the utensils from the fountain plaza in return for harvest series furniture. It's been fun watching him evolve into a celebrity chef.
Toy Day is fun, but because of various RL events, I only got to play it once in NL, so I'm not as familiar. I'm looking forward to making my villagers happy and hope to get something nice from Jingle.
I'm just loving the fall colors, and I'm really looking forward to the snow. I generally don't like snow in Animal Crossing games, but it looks so good in New Horizons. I'm looking forward to that more than the events.
Both! This is my first year on Animal Crossing so everything is a new experience for me. I can't wait for the winter season. I actually forgot Turkey Day was this week until yesterday. Bear in mind we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in my country so not a date I usually remember.
Turkey day is closer so I am looking forward to it, but since I don't celebrate it irl I don't have as strong of a connection to it so I'd have to say Toy Day! plus christmas = fun winter snowy island which is an added bonus (although I am loving the autumn vibes too)
DEFINITELY toy day! I have so may memories of tting to toy day in new leaf when I was younger and it has always been my favorite event, and christmas is my favorite holiday irl anyways! but I am still looking forward to turkey day a lot as well, I loved playing through the event in new leaf. also... the music for turkey day just.. it hits me somewhere different..
I’m excited for both! Can’t wait to experience them and get my hands in all the goodies especially the tents and plushies from Toy Day. Does that mean I prefer Toy Day more? Either way I’m excited.
I’m excited for both and the new furniture items which come with it.
Just hoping there’s a lot more content in it than Halloween, so it isn’t just run around and collect things/give out. Halloween was fun but it got old after the first few times.
hm idk. as of right now probably turkey day because my real thanksgiving is likely to be a huge disappointment this year (several siblings aren't coming this time around. family issues hahhahaa )
so hopefully my turkey day will make me happy enough in place of thanksgiving..... idk ab Christmas....
