Not sure if this has been posted, but I discovered this YouTube video in my recommendations and it might be useful to some people. Apparently money trees (the glow spots, money trees do not regrow) can have more fertile days and can replicate 99k bells per bag, but it's all about finding the pattern for your specific island.

This was later disproven by data miners. There is no pattern coded into the game.
