I decided to look into finding a bag to use that was a neutral color. I have quite a few bags from people giving them to me because they didn't use them and they didn't want to goodwill them. So I don't really have any bags that are "my own". They are nice and all, but flowers everywhere, big patterns, and loud colors aren't my thing. Well, actually I do have one, or two bags that were not hand me downs, but they are a floppy hippie bag and a small floppy backpack both from when I was a kid which aren't convenient for what I need now.
Either way, I spent hours looking for a bag online and it was overwhelming. (I don't like doing things like this).
But I think I found a bag for me. It is one color so no big patterns or flowers everywhere, it stands up on its own, it has a zipper, it's washable, and the straps can be changed out. Undetachable small handles that are on it are attached low enough on the bag so they don't get in my way when trying to get in the bag, and I could cut them off later if they start ripping and it will still look ok. I could also cover the squares of material left behind with a decorative patch if it does bug me. We'll see how it is when it comes into the mail. I hope to keep my odd and end things in it like pencils, chapstick, hair ties, ect in it so maybe I can have less stuff in drawers (and maybe stop losing stuff) and I hate changing bags when I do use a bag... So hopefully this will work for everything for me. It is large enough to slip a book in, or a handheld console, or a Kindle if I get a Kindle in the future, for a day. I usually just carry a wallet but a lack of pockets on women's pants can be a downer and I need more organization in my life.. apparently.
And if I like the bag when it comes in, I'm hoping to pick up a strap for it that has little stars and moons on it, so the strap is more noticeable to me when I need to pick it up so I don't dump it everywhere if it is underneath itself. I can just save the black strap it comes with for later.
But it made me curious, if any of you have a favorite bag or any interesting bags that you enjoy?

I've interestingly had a good amount of bags in the past 10 years that I've really loved, but perhaps my favorite was a blue Dallas Mavericks bag that I used for university back when I was still in school. Don't really know what happened to it though, unfortunately. 😅

I have a leather sling backpack that has a compartment to conceal carry your gun in. I take it everywhere when I'm not at work. If they had black available when I bought it, that's what I would've went with but whatever lol.

Other than that, I have a waterproof motorcycle backpack I wore when I used to ride my bike to work.

I still have my old one gallon Camelbak laying around somewhere. I used it back in my warehousing days. Looks a lot like this.

my tote bag - ah my tote bag, i do love it but i saw they came out with a second version where they included a hook for your keys and a little strap for a water bottle... i just can't bring myself to purchase a new one when this one isn't broken

my purse - i love my silly jodie purse! who doesn't love a fuzzy bag that comes with a pompom (•ᴗ•,, ) i typically use this since it's the perfect size for my everyday usage and it doubles as my work bag

This is the mini backpack from Loungefly that I'm currently using. I typically switch it out whenever a new Coraline bag I'm interested in is released.

I have a blue backpack that I have used for a long time now. It still works so I haven't replaced it yet after having it for almost 10 years now.

I have an overabundance of bags (almost all are backpacks) but I usually only use one. And I mean literally one, because I use it as a school bag, but I also use it as a travel bag to put my clothes and stuff when going away. It not even that good, there's no structure or support in it, it's just a nice shade of green.

The kind of bag I do want is a sling backpack, but I'm waiting until my others bags start falling apart before buying one because otherwise it'd be wasted
