Mondo Butter

So in certain conversations, some villagers will say, "I go back to being mondo cheerful, and then I butter up my friends" and I can't tell if it's a coincidence or if it's a reference to SPOILER (DANGANROMPA) Mondo's execution, in which he gets turned into butter , here is a villager saying it. Or am I just playing too many anime games?

I think so, because its just possible dialogue between peppy and sisterly villagers. I've seen it happen between Wendy and Sylvia, and Tammi and Pashmina

At least is not something like "I'm reading a magazine article by someone named Kokichi from (random town) and it teaches you how to make great pancakes!" And although its not appropriate (by far) it's really funny if you understand it. (on second thought its not funny for Mondo kinnies )
