i'm really sorry to hear about the bad christmas you're having, i know how awful it can be to have such a traditionally happy and wonderful holiday spoiled for you. but this is very much coming across as guilt-tripping and spoils the niceness of the giveaway, since the OP is doing it out of the kindness of their heart. i don't believe there's any ill-intention here as it's pretty common to simply re-roll a giveaway if the winner doesn't respond or forfeits the prize for any reason.I guess it's just one more thing in a long list of disappointments, all combining to make this the worst Christmas ever. Do you ever have that feeling that nothing can ever go right for you? Then something good finally happens for you - at last - but then it just disappears.
