Molly vs. Poppy

A battle of these two popular normies...currently I have Molly in my town who I think is adorable, but I'm thinking of replacing her with Poppy (plus she would compliment Marshal) They both fit my cottagey/nature themed island pretty well so I'm having trouble deciding between the two! My other normie is Chevre (who I don't ever plan to replace). Personally I think Chevre and Poppy have a similar vibe so that's why I went with Molly in the first place.

I really like them both, but I'm voting Molly, just because I think Molly is the cutest normal Duck, but there are cuter normal Squirrels.

Molly mostly because I prefer other squirrels than poppy and Molly is one of the few ducks that are actually good (Ketchup is really the only other one)

That's actually a good idea, I haven't! I'm very fond of Molly actually ;w; But I just kept seeing so many cute screenshots of Poppy all over SNS that awed me!!

This was hard. Two normals I really like but are too boring to make the cut of 10 islanders for my personal taste. I went with Molly .

I like Poppy more but I wish there were more islands with Molly so...

If your going for a nature/cottage theme I definitely recommend Maple she is normal too

Molly is really cute, but I prefer Poppy since I just adore the squirrels and she looks way too precious in her default dress in this game. You can’t go wrong with either of them, though!

Edit: If it helps, Chevre’s hobby is education and so is Poppy’s, while Molly’s is nature! Maybe that’s why you feel that Chevre and Poppy have similar vibes.

I like Poppy but I can think of three other normal squirrels I'd rather have on my island(Sally,Sylvana and Cally).But,I agree that she would probably compliment Marshal better than Molly.Funny thing about my experiences with Marshal is that he tended to associate himself in my towns with other male squirrels.In New Leaf,he and Filbert were joined at the hip and now in New Horizons,he's been hanging out a lot with Static.I've had Molly in my New Leaf duck town for a long time but despite her cuteness,she was kind of overshadowed by the snooty and peppy ducks.

Lol, I'm not sure how many times I've posted about how much I love Poppy! She is my favorite villager of all time!

They are both absolutely precious, but my vote had to go to Poppy! There are so many amazing normals but I think she is my favorite. She is just so tiny and such a sweetheart. Not to mention Autumn is my favorite time of year so her home is the best thing ever to me. Plus, you are right about her complimenting Marshal! I plan on having him and Poppy on my Island. Molly has many similar qualities to Poppy, so in the end I think you should pick whoever you think you would enjoy interacting with/seeing around your Island the most and which home you prefer. Hope this helps!

They are both adorable, but I agree with you that Poppy and Marshal would look adorable on the same island I would have Poppy on my island if I didn't already have 2 squirrels!
