I spent about three hours catching forty crucian carp. Can you catch a Mitten Crab when visiting a town (in November, after 4pm)?

Well...that sucks.
For sure there was a little bit of early November, but the majority was 24-28.
My understanding was that it was 15 September through the end of November.

As far as I can recall, you can catch the mitten crab in another town. It is certain insects that don't spawn when the gates are open.

Last night it was November 20th in one of my towns. The mayor had catch a mitten crab for a meow coupon. Got one. You can catch them in other players towns.
