So, I got my weather seed many months ago and it's been 100% accurate every time.
I haven't checked it in a while, and now the weather doesn't match at all.
I don't know if I even checked it in 2021 yet

Everything from the second a shooting star falls to rainbows to aurora borealis.
I do know that the weather seed can't predict event weather, but I time travelled several times in hopes of getting rainy weather for my dream address to no avail.
I've heard there's an issue that sometimes the page will load a random seed, not sure what would trigger it besides deleting your cookies, but if you have it saved anywhere else, check and make sure you're still using your actual seed.
Oh no! I don't have advice as I haven't used it yet but I was about to start using it for my new island so this is worrying.
I think I saw a thread earlier on here about the same sort of thing, about inaccuracy with MeteoNook -- but it wasn't titled specifying the actual site name so I can't find it to reference. It was earlier this week I believe.
If you happen to visit the weather seed of another island or a default one, you'll have to switch back to yours.
Open the overview tab, and click the gray box that says "Change" by the island name. Hopefully your island is listed if the cache hasn't been cleared. You can input the number if you have it.
I think it happens when you delete some cookies, clear your browser cache, or the site does an update. I wrote down my weather seed in a few places so I don't have to worry about losing it. Try clicking the change drop down box and see if your weather seed is still there. If not, I hope you wrote it down somewhere otherwise you'll have to figured it out again.
Yeah, people's cookies or something have been getting cleared I think. I didn't ever think of that happening, so I quickly added my seed to my signature here so I'll have it somewhere. It sucks if you need to find your seed again, but as soon as you do, I'd definitely make note of it somewhere.
I've not heard of this happening, I have my two islands on there as well as my previous second island and it's fine. But as others have said, keep your seed somewhere you know you can reenter it just in case it goes screwy
