Try restarting your ds. Shutting it off and then turning it on again. It usually seems to help people

just tried, same results :/
i also tried bringing my 3ds closer to the modem and it's still the same dreaded error code
could it be from your end?

Not from my end, wifi is working perfectly here. A friend was even over a moment ago to pick some flowers up so it's working here =/
